TreaTone is not a typical music project.

It begins with a simple idea: sound can do more than fill space. It can shape how we feel, how we think, how we focus.

Each piece is created with intention. Subtle shifts in tone, repetition, and texture are used to open up different inner states — from deep calm to quiet clarity and sustained attention.

A new track is released every week — a steady rhythm, almost a ritual. Each release adds a new space to return to, gradually forming a continuous flow of states you can move through over time.

Treatone follows a long-term structure. The first phase is a series of ten pieces based on monochord recordings by physician Bara Bensch, each exploring a distinct state — from grounding and release to balance, expansion, and integration.

The original monochord recordings each capture a single, precisely tuned tonal state and carry a distinct depth of experience. For this reason, they are not released as part of Treatone, but remain within Bara’s own work, where they are shared in their intended context.
Building on this foundation, the project gradually expands into more organic sound worlds, where tonal structures merge with natural textures and spatial environments.

Over time, these pieces form a growing body of work. Not just songs, but spaces you can return to — depending on what you need in the moment.

Treatone was created by Marc Elsner, who composes and produces every track, shaping the project as a cohesive and evolving body of work.
